2018 SUMMER LIBRARY PROGRAM
Mansfield Free Public Library will again offer a summer reading program for patrons age birth to thirteen years old. The theme this year is titled Libraries Rock! Summer reading will run during June and July.
We’ll meet every Wednesday and will have the meeting times split again this year. The younger patrons, ages birth to seven, meet from 10 am-11 am. The older patrons, ages eight to thirteen, from 11:30 am-12:30 pm.
The program is free of charge and offers lots of fun, engaging activities and enrichment for your children. Library summer reading programs encourage children to read, learn and have fun while maintaining their reading skills. Children who read during the summer gain valuable reading skills, while children who do not may slide backward, losing reading progress they made the previous school year.
Please take some time to fill out the 2017 Summer Reading Survey. We value your feedback because it allows us to improve our programs.
