Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Mansfield Public Library was founded on November 17, 1970. Members of the Friends volunteer to assist the Librarian with a variety of tasks, including being in charge of the circulation desk, shelving books, and many other tasks designed to insure the smooth operation of the library.

The Friends are responsible for book sales and other fund raising activities. Additionally, the Friends assist the Librarian with special projects such as the annual Christmas party & Easter Egg Hunt. Membership dues are quite reasonable in order to encourage patrons of the library and other members of the community to become members of the Friends.
